Finance guru Effie Zahos to Present at Pharmacy Connect 2024
Effie Zahos, one of Australia’s leading financial journalists and commentators, will present at this year’s Pharmacy Connect.
The finance guru’s session, Personal Finance – The current financial impact, explores the current economic landscape and its impact on personal finances, incorporating over two decades of experience in helping Australians manage their money effectively.
Known for her no-nonsense approach, Effie has a knack for making money matters simple. A regular money expert on Channel 9’s Today Show and on radio around Australia, Effie was editor of Money magazine until 2019, having helped establish it in 1999 when talking about money in a fun, casual way wasn’t the norm.
As Chief Content Office and money expert for one of Australia’s leading robo advisers, InvestSMART, and ambassador of Australia’s largest comparison site, Canstar, she continues to help Aussies make the most of what they have.
Effie Zahos said attendees can expect her to “share tips and strategies to handle economic ups and downs and make your money work for you. Learn about bulletproof budgets, money hacks, and smart investing to take control of your financial future.”
Pharmacy Connect Convenor Kos Sclavos AM said attendees to the session would benefit from Effie’s profound and practical knowledge of finance.
“Ms Zahos has over 20 years’ experience helping Australians make the most of their money and has a remarkable ability to make money matters simple. Effie will speak about the current state of the economy, consumer sentiment around interest rates and cost of living pressure, and how this impacts pharmacy.”
Effie Zahos’ session at Pharmacy Connect will be held on Saturday, 7 December, in Grand Ballroom 2 at 8:30 am.
Pharmacy Connect is an annual event for pharmacists, owners, executives, students, interns, and industry representatives. It will take place at the Hyatt Regency Sydney from 5-7 September.
