New pharmacy-to-home delivery service

The Kings Group and The Pharmacy Guild of Australia are delighted to officially announce their strategic partnership and launch of the revolutionary Pharmacy to Home Delivery Service through subsidiary Gold Cross Products and Services.

Since 2016, Kings has been working together with Gold Cross to design, trial and review the best solution for pharmacies to service their customers’ demands in today’s logistics landscape.

Gold Cross, in conjunction with Kings Logistics experts have developed and refined a fit for purpose service, custom built for Australian pharmacies.

The Pharmacy to Home Delivery Service empowers pharmacies to offer safe and reliable deliveries to their customers as an extension of their business, performed by qualified logistics professionals armed with secured track and trace and route optimisation technology.

Based on their unique customer demands, pharmacies are able to arrange permanent, regular drivers to create familiarity with their clients and/or opt to utilise additional scaled usage via ad-hoc callouts when required.

All delivery drivers are hand-picked to ensure the pharmacy’s reputation and image are maintained with their customers.

In addition to Kings well established induction program, pharmacy drivers complete specialised training on medicines handling, pharmacy layout, culture, operations and customer service. This provides pharmacies with the confidence their quality of service will be maintained through the usual pharmacy friendly, caring and kind way.

The Kings Group has had a longstanding presence in the healthcare industry as a trusted and recognised supplier for Sigma’s wholesale pharmaceutical deliveries into pharmacies nationally.

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s official endorsement of Kings as their logistics partner is an excellent testament to the reputation and professionalism of Kings and their operations within the Pharmacy industry.

The Pharmacy to Home Delivery Service will be showcased at the upcoming Sigma Healthcare National Retail Conference (30 April—2 May) and the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference & Trade Exhibition (3—6 May).
